The upcoming Eastern General Hospital (EGH) aims to provide excellent healthcare and promote healing centred around each person. You will be part of the HR Business Partnering & Policy Governance team, supporting the development and implementation of HR policies and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and SingHealth cluster guidelines. This role plays a crucial part in strengthening HR business partnering functions, policy alignment, and staff recognition programmes, while ensuring HR operations remain compliant, structured, and progressive.This role also provides the opportunity to engage with various stakeholders, including department leaders, HR teams, and external agencies, contributing to policy enhancements, workforce engagement initiatives, and recognition programmes. You will play a vital role in supporting HR business partnering, policy development, compliance monitoring, and governance best practices in a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with at least 2 years’ HR experience in business partnering, policy development, governance, or HR compliance
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience in coordinating staff recognition programmes, national and HR awards is an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and advisory skills, with the ability to communicate and implement HR policies effectively
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for HR compliance and policy governance
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
