Speech Therapist

SAIL Playhouse is an inclusive preschool and early intervention centre catering to children age 18 months to 6 years old, both typically developing and with additional needs. We are committed to offering a universally designed early education model that respects diversity and supports the needs of all children.

We are seeking passionate and qualified Speech Therapists who are excited to join our early education team in making a positive difference to the lives of children and their families. Your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication delays in our children. You will require to develop individualized therapy plans, provide therapy sessions, and collaborate with other allied-health professionals.

Job Requirements for Speech Therapist

• Masters or Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy
• Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council
• Experienced in conducting assessments and developing therapy plans
• Familiarity with the use of oromotor tools (e.g. Talk Tools) and feeding therapy are a bonus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassion, patience, and empathy towards children with needs
• Independent worker and good team player
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Love for children
