ESD will comprise 2 branches: namely (i) Engineering Office and (ii) Safety and Operational Excellence Office.

The Engineering Office will critically review current processes, systems and equipment at WMFs and the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) plants, and recommend areas for enhancements/improvements. 1. Scrutinise/technically assess efficiency/adequacy of proposed maintenance schedules, from NEA’s and PPP plants, etc.
  2. Provide technical assessment of unplanned shutdowns, maintenance schedules; engineering analysis and evaluation of systems/equipment failure and outages.
  3. Investigate and critique claims or requests by PPP plants for waivers, extension of time, delays in repairs or replacement work, procurement timelines, etc.
  4. Conduct onsite verification of technical failures/repairs such as boiler tube leaks and equipment failure at PPP plants, benchmarking (with NEA’s WMFs) of shutdown or repair periods/methodology, etc.

[What we are looking for]

The job might be for you if:

You possess the following qualities:

  1. An Engineering degree, qualifications and training/education.
