As an Assistant Manager/Manager (Clinical Operations), you will be accountable for:
The administrative and operational prospect of the care delivery process
Implementation of workflows and policies
Upkeep of the facility for patient safety and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Specific
In this job, you will work in Emergency Department and Urgent Care Centre.
You will lead a team for any of the following tasks:
Clinical Operations:
Design the care delivery process
Use data to understand the care delivery process
Work with stakeholders (Finance, IT, Clinical Services etc) to design care models and its associated processes.
Implement the processes with appropriate resourcing and timeline
Feedback/enquiry management from patients and public
Work with stakeholders (e.g. nursing, clinicians) to investigate feedback from the patients and public
Address patients' concerns/requests if required
Propose improvement to process if required
Measure and analyse of performances of care delivery
Work with Senior Management and MOH to report key performing indicators and measurement of operations, e.g. attendances, case mix etc.
Continuously fine-tune the dashboarding processes to have more timely and accurate visibility of the performance of the department and hospital
Administrative support to Clinical team (Department Secretaries)
Calendar and secretariat support to Head Of Department (HOD) calendars
Admin support e.g. IT system access request, onboarding/offboarding processes, logistics support, claim matters of doctors
Facility and ground operations:
Managing frontline operations
Work with clinical ops team to develop and review of workflows
Ensure processes are correctly and consistently carried out by PSAs (or equivalent)
Staff management of PSAs (or equivalent) e.g. day to day deployment, performance management, training and development
Upkeep the facilities and IT system
Plan and procure items for the day to day operations of the facility including consumables, medical equipment, infrastructure improvement.
Work with supporting departments e.g. Facility Management, IT, in rectifying the fault and IT system for safe and efficient delivery of patient care.
General
Carry out any other duties as may be reasonably required by the Head of Department
Job Requirements
Recognised University Degree
Minimum 7 years of Operations Management and/or Healthcare experiences are required
Project Management
Effective in verbal and written communication;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
IT savvy
Resilient attitude to navigate the dynamic landscape of healthcare
Highly effective in managing relationships and communication with all levels and background
