Resident Technical Officer (M&E) Healthcare

Job Description:

1. Ensure all installations are in accordance with the Working/Shop Drawings and applicable local Codes, Regulations, and Standards.
2. Attend site meetings and site walks with the Owner and consultants.
3. Monitor project progress schedules and quality standards.
4. Inspect and monitor the quality of materials delivered to the site.
5. Maintain and update site records on project progress.
6. Verify contractor’s progress claims.
7. Check all drawings (including working drawings, shop drawings, authority submission drawings, and as-built drawings).
8. Administer the University’s Safety Management System and conduct periodic inspections on the provision of safety measures together with the Contractor’s site safety supervisor or Contractor representative to ensure that the Contractor complies with the safety requirements.

Job Requirements:

1. Possess at least a Degree/Diploma/Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services Engineering.
2. Minimum 10 years of experience as RTO on local projects for Healthcare, Institutional, or Commercial projects.
3. Familiar with local codes and regulations.
4. Registered resident technical officer with IES / ACES would be an added advantage.
