Electrical Field Service Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Electrical Field Service Technician to join our team in Singapore. This role focuses on servicing industrial, hospitality, and medical washing equipment, primarily dishwashers. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and general service requests across a variety of client sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial dishwashers and washing equipment for clients in hospitality, healthcare, and industrial sectors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, ensuring swift and effective repairs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients and end-users.
• Keep accurate records of service visits, including issues found and solutions applied.
• Be proactive in identifying and completing maintenance tasks, even in the absence of active service calls.
• Maintain tools, spare parts, and service vehicle (if applicable) in a ready-to-use condition.
• Adhere to workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Travel across Singapore and other Asian countries as required to support regional clients.
• Attend training and company events at the Australian head office to stay updated on product developments and service techniques.

Key Requirements

• Electrical qualification or equivalent technical training.
• Experience working with industrial washing equipment, dishwashers, or similar appliances.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when no active service calls are scheduled.
• Willingness to travel within Asia and to Australia for training and work assignments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
