Quantity Surveyor | East & Northeast | Fast hiring | MPG

Location: Northeast & East regions
Salary: $4000 - $5000 (depends on experience)
Working Days & Hours: Monday to Friday, Office hours

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit cost estimations for approval to the Customer’s Superintending Officer, ensuring timely submissions.
• Develop financial projections, manage budget planning, and monitor expenditure control for the Contractor’s work.
• Prepare monthly payment claims, certify Term Contracts, and ensure complete and timely submissions for payment approval by the Customer’s Superintending Officer.
• Assess Contractor claims, including Payment Certificates (COP), ensuring accuracy in accordance with the Maintenance Term Contracts and Contract Price/rates.
• Review and finalize all draft Final Accounts (FA) for Term Contracts and prepare the draft Final Account for MA Contracts for submission to the Customer for review.
• Evaluate, verify, and recommend "star rate items" submitted by Contractors before the commencement of work, ensuring they are reasonable and in line with fair market prices for acceptance by the Superintending Officer.
• Maintain records of star rates and quotation rates, analyze, and review them for future reference.
• Prepare tender documents and specifications.
• Advise on contractual claims, disputes, and cost variations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders on cost-related matters.

Requirements:

• The Lead Quantity Surveyor (QS) should be an Accredited or Registered member with the Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers with a minimum of 5 years of relevant local working experiences.
