Night Residential Care Worker

Position: Residential Care Worker

The Residential Care Worker will be working with the youths staying in an institutional facility that focuses on community rehabilitation. They are required to work night shifts.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the residents on a daily basis; manage the welfare, discipline, and standards of regimentation in the institution.
2. Support the shift during emergencies.
3. Deliver trauma-informed practices in daily interactions.
4. Ensure the safety and security of premises, including performing body and property checks, carrying out security and night patrols, conducting dormitory checks, and conducting urine tests (when necessary).
5. Manage and provide care for the daily living needs of the residents in the hostel.
6. Develop positive relationships with the residents.
7. Involve in taskforce to assist and execute tasks required from the taskforce.

Technical Competencies:

1. Able to do rotating night shifts.
2. Independent, resourceful, and responsible.
3. Firm in upholding the standards and responsive in dealing with people.
4. Possess good communication and writing skills.
5. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, etc.
