Cloud SRE Engineer

We are looking for a candidate who is well-versed with the Change Management process, able to assess risk and compliance. Experience in AWS Operation Management and possess relevant AWS certificates.

Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation:

1. Design, develop, and deploy cloud solutions (public, private, and hybrid).
2. Implement and manage cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
3. Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance, and performance requirements.
4. Automate deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.

Change Management:

1. Plan and manage cloud-related changes, including infrastructure upgrades, application deployments, and service migrations.
2. Develop and implement change management processes and procedures.
3. Prioritize change requests, assess their impact, and ensure timely execution.
4. Communicate changes effectively to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Monitor and track changes to ensure successful implementation and minimal disruption.
6. Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth transitions.

Troubleshooting and Support:

1. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
2. Provide ongoing support to cloud users and applications.
3. Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and identify areas for optimization.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in at least one cloud platform (AWS, and GCP will be a plus).
2. Strong understanding of networking, security, and virtualization.
3. Experience with cloud automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
4. Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Service Desk, Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. AWS Cloud certification is preferred.
