The Amazon Private Brands Global Sourcing team is looking for customer-obsessed driven individuals to lead vendor management for new product sourcing and drive ongoing business accelerated growth for our Private Label business. The role will manage the global sourcing process from A to Z including vendor strategy setting and management, P&L management, profitability optimizing including cost negotiation, product planning, and development.

In this role, you will actively manage WW supplier relationships and collaborate with our global business partners such as Product, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Management teams in North America, Europe, and Japan.

The candidate must have strong business acumen and strategic agility, and enjoy identifying defects and opportunities to design/implement long-term solutions as well as fix problems quickly. He or she must be capable of driving business impact and delivering results under ambiguity or coping with challenges. A successful candidate will thrive in a highly collaborative, analytical, creative, and fast-paced environment. The candidate is expected to be willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done. The ideal candidate is also expected to have experience working in a global team dealing with multi-stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities:

1. Supplier development and management toward driving P&L profitability and topline growth.
2. Define Sourcing Strategy and execute based on the proposed strategy collaborating with Product, Quality, Supplier Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Team.
3. Partner with Product Manager and suppliers to design and launch products with the best profitability, product competitiveness, and high quality and safety standards.
4. Identify process improvement areas and develop scalable processes/tech solutions to address and accelerate our Private Brand business.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve tools and productivity for vendors and sourcing teams.
6. Write professional business documents for business updates and drive strategic initiatives for stakeholder alignment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology.
2. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
3. Experience with end-to-end product delivery.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
2. Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders.
