Job description

The Assistant Manager, Finance (6-Month Contract) will play a critical role in supporting the successful migration of the finance module to SAP. This role involves close collaboration with the project team, SAP consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth transition and operations during the migration period.

Responsibilities:

SAP Migration Support

  1. Collaborate with the project team and SAP consultants to facilitate the finance module migration process.
  2. Ensure accurate and complete data migration from the legacy system to SAP.
  3. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting during migration activities.
  4. Assist in configuring finance-related modules in SAP to align with business requirements.

System Testing and Documentation

  1. Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance modules to ensure functionality and accuracy.
  2. Identify and report system bugs or gaps, working closely with IT and SAP consultants for resolution.
  3. Document finance workflows, processes, and system configurations for future reference.

Training and Change Management

  1. Assist in developing user guides and training materials for the Finance Department staff.
  2. Conduct training sessions to familiarize team members with SAP functionalities.

Financial Operations Support

  1. Provide day-to-day support for finance operations during the transition period.
  2. Ensure timely processing of financial transactions in adherence to company policies and procedures.
  3. Assist in monthly closing activities and reporting during the migration.

Compliance and Audit Support

  1. Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements during the SAP migration.
  2. Support audit-related queries and provide necessary documentation related to the migration process.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
  4. Proven experience in financial operations, system migrations, or SAP implementation projects.
  5. Proficiency in SAP and/or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  8. Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines.
