Lead & own Product Yield, covering the complete yield supply chain, deep dive into every yield challenge, analyze, propose, influence & drive improvements in FE, assembly, subcons, and internal manufacturing contributing directly to business output & site results i.e. 1206 products.
Manage, run, and control final test sample management business process, execution, prioritization, and delivery to enable division business wins of new development projects. Responsible for resource planning, order creation and fulfillment, order charging, and delivery.
Test package ownership - govern and drive test robustness at qualification and releases. Explore and derive new solutions to resolve both hardware and software difficulties and marginality with the latest test technology and platforms introduced with new product requirements.
Responsible for product & process test capability improvement and provide technical leadership with a direct impact for segment, backend test. Extensive portfolio to master, with products of all 4 divisions and Microcontrollers leading the new generation of final testing in the industry.
Drive reduction of deviation lots with 1st pass yield enhancement and no retest program, directly contributing to OEE performance. Fast disposition of lots on hold, feedback to pre-process for process control optimization, providing value to assembly segments.
Responsible for competitive test cost year on year with identification, co-develop approach, data mining, and implementation of ratio projects (test/burn time reduction, insertion removal) with divisions. Diverse field of competency covering digital, analog, and mixed signal testing, lead/leadless/ball grid packaging thermal mechanical know-how.
Ensure test product quality - perform electrical analysis of FARs, identify root cause, provide corrective/preventive measures as an effective firewall via test, product characterization, create DoE to establish test manufacturability framework for sustainable excellence.
Drive automation in PTE works - design and incorporate automation into product engineering work reducing manual and repeated tasks. Lead and build data analytics into standards for artificial intelligent applications that could be rolled out to other BE sites.
Requirements:
Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in semiconductor backend testing.
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or relevant discipline.
Strong knowledge in project and testing engineering in semiconductor backend testing.
Strong communication and team management experience.
Experience working in a functional matrix organization and diverse cultural environment.
