Quality Control Assistant (5.5 Days / Up to $2,500 + OT + Performance Bonus

Job Description

• Position: Quality Control / Assurance Assistant
• Well Established Singapore Based Seafood Processing SME
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm); Saturday (8:00am – 12:00pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $2,500 + OT + Variable Bonus (Minimum 1 Month)
• Working Location: Jurong

• Industry: Food Processing Manufacturing

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day-to-day inspection of in-process and finished products.
• Conduct daily hygiene inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas to ensure it meets the required standards.
• Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections.
• Responsible for reporting any non-conformance of products/process/hygiene violation in a timely manner.
• Assist in guiding production leaders/operators in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production area.
• Assist in product development and ensure proper maintenance of all data, documents and records relating to product development.
• Assist QA Executive in implementation/maintenance of SFA, Halal, ISO22000 & HACCP certifications.
• Assist QA Executive on Quality-related matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science or Microbiology.
• At least 1 year of experience as QC in the Food Manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of ISO 22000 / HACCP / GMP / Halal requirements is an added advantage.
• Meticulous, positive working attitude, able to cooperate/communicate with all levels of employees.
