Operations Manager, Asset Management (Based HongKong)

Summary
Our client is an asset management start-up firm in Hong Kong looking for a experience Operation Manager to join their expanding team. The Operations Manager is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and optimizing our operational processes, this role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and drive business growth. This role will be reporting to the CFO and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and actively manage daily operations to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Provide high-level administrative support to senior management, assist with basic financial tasks, and coordinate events effectively
• Streamline HR process for Hong Kong office, focusing on onboarding and offboarding procedures
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
• Manage vendors to ensure consistent and timely supply of office supplies and equipment
• Provide comprehensive site support to ensure a smooth working environment for all team members
• Facilitate communication and coordination between the Hong Kong office and global locaters

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of combined experience in operations and finance; preferably having experience in start-ups family offices/asset management
• Strong understanding of operational and financial processes, systems, and workflows.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
