KINDERGARTEN CARE TEACHER (PROGRAMME STAFF)

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Provide routine care for the children, including preparing and serving meals.
2. Plan and prepare for programmes for the children.
3. Conduct and supervise class activities / field trips.
4. Ensure compliance to safety and health standards.
5. Maintain a conducive and positive learning environment for the children, including washing/sanitizing of toys and sleeping cots.
6. Handle emergencies and administer first aid, where applicable.
7. Update parents on children’s learning and development progress.

REQUIREMENTS

1. At least 1 year of experience working in preschool or student care settings.
2. Those with the Student Care (Early Years) certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood and Care Education will be considered for Programme Staff position.
3. Those without relevant education certification will be considered for Programme Staff (Trainee) or Support Staff position.
4. Passion for working with children in K1 and K2.

WORKING HOURS

Normal school term: 9.30am to 7pm (Mon to Fri). During school holidays: 9.5-hours shift between 7am to 7pm (Mon to Fri).
