Senior/ Quantity Surveyor (LTA/ D&B Projects)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team, focusing on LTA and Design & Build (D&B) projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantity surveying, procurement, and a thorough understanding of the SOP Act.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Source and procure sub-contractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing through effective price comparison.
2. Review and understand all specifications and drawings related to the projects.
3. Prepare cost estimates and budgets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
4. Manage contractual agreements and maintain correspondence with stakeholders regarding cost-related issues.
5. Evaluate and monitor project variations and assist in value engineering and cost control.
6. Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Building Construction, Quantity Surveying, or an equivalent qualification.
2. Relevant experience in a construction or quantity surveying firm.
3. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, quantity surveying practices, and the SOP Act.
4. Proficient in using relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and project management.

1. Strong negotiation and coordination skills.
2. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
3. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving skills.
