Position Title: Accounts Assistant
Working Location: Tuas
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm
Salary Package: Up to $3,000 + VB
Duration: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely generation and issuance of customer invoices.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts, communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances.
- Process incoming payments in line with established financial policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of the accounts receivable ledger to maintain accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes, ensuring prompt and fair outcomes.
- Monitor and prepare cash flow analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to address customer inquiries or concerns.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounts receivable function.
- Handle department administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of working experience in a similar capacity.
