Job Overview:
The Full-Time Motorcycle Salesperson is responsible for selling motorcycles, second hand or brand new to customers while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves understanding customer needs, guiding them through the purchase process, promoting sales, and maintaining product knowledge to offer accurate information and recommendations. The salesperson will work closely with the sales team to meet sales targets and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales:
Greet and assist customers who visit the showroom or contact the store via online platforms.
Understand customers' requirements (e.g., type of motorcycle, features, budget) and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Demonstrate the features and benefits of various motorcycle models, accessories, and add-ons.
Provide clear explanations about pricing, financing options, and promotions.
Close sales and ensure all paperwork, including purchase agreements and financing documents, are completed accurately and promptly.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Follow up with prospective customers and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and offering post-sale support.
Ensure customers are satisfied with their purchase, follow up for feedback, and ensure any issues are promptly resolved.
Advise customers on after-sales services, maintenance, and warranties.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Minimum of a Secondary School education or equivalent. A diploma in sales, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
Familiarity with motorcycle models, accessories, and basic maintenance is highly desirable.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong sales skills, with the ability to close deals and meet targets.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple customer inquiries simultaneously.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence customer decisions.
Ability to learn about new products, motorcycle models, and sales techniques quickly.
Preferably have at least 2B license.
