AV Engineer (Audio)

Job Objective:

• Work closely with manufacturers, designers, and engineers to implement audio-visual and video conferencing solutions in accordance with the company’s standards and best practices to meet customer requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

• System configuration, testing, and commissioning for Pro-Audio solutions for large venues and corporate meeting rooms that need integration with other audio-visual and videoconferencing solutions.
• Conduct end-user training on how to use the implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with in-house AV designers and engineers from different manufacturers like Martin Audio, EV, D&B, BOSE, Samsung, Crestron, Extron, Poly, Logitech, etc., to implement fully integrated solutions for venues like meeting rooms, lecture rooms, experience centers, command centers, auditoriums, ballrooms, etc.

Education Qualification:

• ITE/Diploma in IT/Engineering/Audio Visual.

Optional Certification:

• Technical audio certification from renowned audio institutions or manufacturers.
• Dante Level 1 & 2, Cisco CCNT, CCNA.
• Crestron CTI-P101, CTI-P201, Extron Control Professional (ECP), Extron Authorized Programmer (EAP).
• Kramer Control System Designer (301), Kramer Control System Programmer (302).

Experience:

Mandatory:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in system configuration, testing, and commissioning for Pro-Audio solutions that include equipment such as microphones, mixing consoles, digital sound processors (DSP), amplifiers, and speakers.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years in DSP programming.

Good to Have:

• Experience with products like videowalls, LED & LCD displays, videoconferencing, and audio-visual switches.
• Experience with renowned AV brands like Martin Audio, EV, D&B, BOSE, JBL, Tannoy, etc.
• Experience in Crestron, Extron, AMX, and Kramer automation programming will be an added advantage.
