Talent & Culture Manager (Employee Relations)

Summary of Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • Oversee the administration and timely submission of the various claims for the employees' group medical insurance plans, and ensure that the insurance policies are renewed in a timely manner
  • Oversee the administration and timely submission of all workmen’s injury compensation and insurance claims and ensuring that the insurance policy is renewed in a timely manner
  • Ensure timely reimbursement of colleague medical and hospitalisation claims.
  • Oversee the administration of the business travel insurance and ensure that the policy is renewed in a timely manner and colleagues are covered during the time of business related to travel.
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of up to date records of the flexi-benefit plans for all employees and ensure timely submissions for all claims.
  • Oversee the administration of employee’s lockers and laundry entitlement for eligible employees
  • Oversee the administration of employee’s morning and night transport arrangements and taxi claims
  • Oversee the leave administration and time attendance process
  • Manage enquiries pertaining to leave policies and eLeave
  • Works closely with the leaders and the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll including compensation changes.
  • Responsible for the administration of multiple bonus plans and the annual merit review process.
  • To be knowledgeable and proficient in all matters relating to the Employee Benefits and Relations programmes and to be able to advise colleagues and Department
  • Manage accordingly with all matters relating to employee plans
  • To be the T&C representation in the various committees and ensure all duties required by the T&C representative is carried out accurately and in a timely manner (Eg. Heartist Committee, ROC (Tuckshop) Commitee, Workplace Health & Safety Committee)
  • Oversee, plan, organise and coordinate sports, recreational and employee-related activities/ events and develop new activities/ programmes when necessary
  • Prepare the annual budget related to employee benefits, relations and rewards & recognition programmes in conjunction with the Director, Talent & Culture and Assistant Director, Talent & Culture.
  • Review all monthly T&C expenses and ensure timely and accurate submission of the monthly forecast and accruals.
  • Provide advice to leaders on all employment issues in accordance to the statutory requirements.
  • Act as Audit Compliance Officer to oversee and ensure that all checklists are carried out as per corporate standards (LQA, AllSafe, ADICT Audit and etc).
  • Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel

Qualifications:

  • At least 5-8 years of related experience in the hospitality industry
  • Positive attitude, mature, organised and meticulous
  • Good team player who is able to work independently
  • Able to work in a highly pressurising and fast paced environment,
  • Able to meet tight deadlines
  • People-oriented, presentable, well-groomed with leadership quality
