FT Enrichment Trainer for Arabic x 1
General: The Enrichment Trainer teaches and inspires preschool and primary students through age-appropriate enrichment activities. Responsibilities include planning, conducting, and leading sessions in a safe, engaging environment while monitoring children's progress and communicating with stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities
- Programme Implementation & Class Management: Design and conduct Arabic enrichment programmes, holiday programmes, and workshops per schedule.
- Utilize diverse teaching methods to foster active learning and curiosity.
- Meet learning objectives and use relevant teaching resources.
- Monitoring, Assessment, Reporting & Recording: Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies.
- Provide feedback to students, parents, and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and development.
- Mentor and guide staff and freelance trainers for quality programme delivery.
- Others: Engage in professional development.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and safety.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Support administrative tasks and projects led by unit heads.
- Review enrichment curriculum for relevance to preschool and student care needs.
Secondary Responsibilities: Support events, campaigns, and projects organized by MERCU and AMP as instructed. Assist in other programs where required.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum O Level / Higher NITEC / Diploma in any discipline.
- Experience in Early Childhood is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of child development and active learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently from home and resolve classroom challenges on-site.
- Passion for working with children.
Working Conditions
Hybrid Work Setting: Trainers work from home on a rostered basis with a company-loaned laptop and communication tools. Office presence may be required as instructed by reporting officers.
On-Site Work (Schools/Childcare Centres): Trainers travel to different sites across Singapore as rostered. The environment is active and requires physical stamina; classrooms are non-air-conditioned but well-ventilated.
Others: Trainers may work overtime on Saturdays for enrichment programmes, with compensation per KET contract.
