Head of Product (RWA)

About our Client

As a Web3 company, we seek a Head of Product with experience steering Web3 product development, preferably for a Layer1 blockchain or similar, from conceptualisation to shipping into the market. The ideal candidate is a committed agile leader and mentor who is unafraid to jump in when the team needs it.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in the financial or banking industry or exposure to regulated activities. You will help translate ideas into strategy and features through clear and structured documentation and follow a product development framework from start to finish. To succeed in this role, you should be a wise, creative leader and reliable problem-solver.

Job Description:

1. Define the product strategy and roadmap for a public Layer1 blockchain targeted at use cases within the financial industry.
2. Overseeing the development and management of the entire range of products within the company.
3. With Management level, setting the product vision, and ensuring the successful execution of product initiatives, also identify and understand unique value propositions in the product strategy.
4. Defining product strategy: Conducting market research, gathering customer insights, analyzing competitor landscapes, and identifying market opportunities to shape the overall product strategy.
5. Structure and manage clear, concise documentation across all product aspects.
6. Be a trusted and strong communicator who can promote the Layer1 blockchain to financial and risk experts.
7. Setting product vision: Articulating a clear and compelling vision for the product that aligns with the company’s goals and resonates with target users.
8. Leading product teams: Managing and mentoring a team of product managers, product owners, and other product professionals, fostering collaboration and driving high performance.
9. Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries, providing clear communication and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
10. Work closely with different stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to gather requirements and translate them into actionable user stories and product features.
11. Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering maximum value to customers and the business.
12. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

1. Six or more years of experience in product management, product development, or similar roles, with 2 of those years in the Web3 product space and a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
2. Demonstrated success in defining and launching excellent Web3, DeFi, and L1 products.
3. Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and analyze data to make informed decisions.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
6. Demonstrated leadership ability, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
7. Passion for product development and a deep understanding of customer needs.
8. A background in software development and program management is preferred.
9. Strong understanding of product lifecycle and development processes.
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
11. Strong communication and leadership skills.
12. Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
13. Knowledge of UX/UI design principles.
14. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
15. Experience with data analysis and performance metrics tracking.
