Site Supervisor

Responsibilities

PART 1

The site supervisor’s job is to assist the Project Manager or Superior to hit site completion targets. The supervisor must know how to read drawings, plan their work in sequence and in advance:

1. Work scope to be carried out;
2. How to carry out the processes;
3. Procure required materials & tools in advance;
4. Request for manpower in advance.

PART 2

Daily duties include:

1. Briefing leaders/workers on their work scope;
2. Ensuring safety measures are carried out;
3. Ensuring works are carried out expeditiously;
4. Checking their work;
5. Ensuring works are completed as planned.

PART 3

1. Properly protect works done;
2. Check and rectify defects if any;
3. Debrief leaders/workers on their works.

Ability to nurture effective professional relationships with staff and clients.

Strong project management abilities.

Confidence to thrive under pressure.
