SENIOR / QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Quantity Surveyor to manage a large, high-profile project. This role requires a skilled professional to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards. As the Commercial Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing cost estimates, monitoring expenses, and ensuring financial control throughout the project. You will also work closely with all teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient coordination and delivery.

• Location: Tampines or Woodland
• Working Hours: 5 days (8am to 5:30pm)

Job Description

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are accurately estimated and tracked
• Assist in preparing and issuing tender documents for contractors and suppliers
• Evaluate tender submissions and manage procurement for MEP and Civil works
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Manage contracts related to MEP and Civil/Structural works
• Handle variations, claims, and change orders
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
• Identify and manage cost risks and schedule delays
• Regularly inspect the site to ensure work is progressing as planned
• Act as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, and project teams
• Ensure smooth communication regarding project costs and schedules
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying / Building or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably within the semiconductor or industrial manufacturing sectors
• Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Highly motivated, self-driven with initiatives to work independently
• Sound computer literacy, including advanced skills in Excel
• Singaporean or Permanent Resident
