Group Chief Operating Officer for ICT & Financial Group

Job Description

As regional head of ICT & Financial Group, you will contribute to the expansion of ICT & Financial related business (IT service/BPO/Healthcare/Mobile/Content/Satellite/Venture Capital/Auto loan/Consumer finance/Insurance, etc.) by managing GMs and their staff in ITOCHU's regional offices located in Asia & Oceania.

Additionally, you will enhance communication between each country and Japan, contribute to business expansion, and govern the whole business within the region.

Your responsibilities will also include building the ICT & Financial group's mid to long-term growth strategy within the region and monitoring each branch to ensure alignment with this strategy.

Job Requirements

1. Build clear, consistent, and sustainable strategies in the ICT & Financial business segment.
2. Demonstrate excellent communication skills, effectively conveying information and ideas clearly in both written and verbal forms to management, group staff, clients, and vendors in the Asia & Oceania Bloc.
3. Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain good relationships with management, superiors, subordinates, and local/overseas counterparts.
4. Possess excellent ability to converse in business Japanese to liaise with Japanese counterparts in the region and Japan HQ (holding at least JLPT N1 level).
5. Be challenging, open-minded, sensitive, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
6. Proactively propose new solutions while staying updated on the latest market trends and business environment.
7. Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and define problems, extract key information from clients/vendors, verify the cause of problems, and develop feasible solutions.
8. Exhibit the capability of coaching and motivating group staff for better performance and contributions.
9. Have a basic understanding of accounting, legal matters, M&A, and knowledge of the ICT & Financial business (IT service/BPO/Healthcare/Mobile/Content/Satellite/Venture Capital/Auto loan/Consumer finance/Insurance, etc.).
