Senior Analyst, Finance

The Senior Analyst, Finance is responsible for maintaining the full or partial set of accounts for the BPL Group, performing monthly closing processes, and preparing statutory financial statements and management reports. This role involves variance analysis, taxation, forecasting, and budgeting. The analyst supports all financial operations, processes, and controls, and assists the Finance Manager with monthly group reporting.

Job Description

1. Maintaining partial/full set of accounts
   - Performing monthly closing process
   - Preparing statutory financial statements and management reports including variance analysis, taxation, forecasting, and budgeting
   - Supporting all financial operations, processes, and controls
   - Other ad-hoc projects when required
   - Assisting the Finance Manager on preparing monthly Group reporting reports
2. Group Authorisation Matrix Coordinator
   - Communicate, discuss, and set policies and processes
3. Budgeting / Forecasting
   - Preparing yearly budget and monthly rolling forecast for Holding Company and support Corp Office on financial planning as required.
4. Annual Credit Review
   - Z Score review of key customers
   - Annual Review of key customers’ credit limit
5. Financial Controlling Duties
   - Exchange rate upload
   - Net Working Capital Report
   - AR Aging Report
   - AP Aging Report
   - Inventory Aging Report
   - Group FA Forecast Report
   - Group Tax Controlling (CIT, TPD)
   - Group Capex Controlling and Coordinator

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in commercial/audit
• Proficient in Microsoft applications especially Excel
• Candidates with Oracle EPM and Oracle Fusion knowledge will have added advantage
• Able to work independently and a good team player
• Able to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Able to travel when required
