Operations Specialist

An operations specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely fulfillment of orders. This role may also involve other tasks such as inventory management, customer service, and e-commerce sales:

• Order fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare items for delivery.
• Procurement: Identify, source, and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Inventory management: Use Shopify & Excel to update inventory levels, replenish stock, and ensure adequate inventory.
• Inventory control: Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data accuracy.
• Customer service: Handle customer inquiries via WhatsApp & email and provide excellent service.
• E-commerce sales: Set up and manage e-commerce sales and promotions, and update product descriptions and images.

Other responsibilities may include processing returns, scheduling deliveries, managing payments, and receiving and restocking items.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of related experience.
• Strong experience with e-commerce marketplaces.
• Attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
• Passionate about giving back and working with seniors and differently-abled crafters.
• Strong Excel knowledge & passion to go above and beyond.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and vendor management.
• Proficiency in software (such as QuickBooks, Shopify) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve key deliverables, fostering mutual support and team success.

Working Conditions:

• Lunch provided, working hours from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Walking distance from Dover MRT station.
• Salary: $1,800 to $2,000.
