Facilities Officer

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

• Hands-on and able to carry out minor handyman and breakdown maintenance works (e.g. electrical troubleshooting, sanitary, servicing to electrical and plumbing defects, painting work, building repair works & etc.)
• Able to read basic technical drawings / plans.
• Co-ordinate with various contractors for periodic and ad-hoc works.
• Supervise maintenance, servicing and ad-hoc works carried out by vendors. Verify job completion according to scope of works.
• Maintain accurate & detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment maintenance history, and inventory
• Regular site visit checks to data centres.
• Attend to after office hours fault calls as and when required
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required or assigned.
• Housekeeping and database management

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:

• At least NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management / Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with an eye detail.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and at times independently, as well as under pressure.
• Good team player
