Sitting in the heart of the central business district and Marina Bay, with panoramic views of the Singapore city skyline, the 583-room PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore is the country's first 'Garden-in-a-Hotel'.

A champion of sustainability, environmental responsibility and advocate for green innovations in the hospitality industry, the hotel is home to one of Southeast Asia's largest indoor sky-lit atrium, designed by the late Architect John Portman, containing over 2,400 plants, trees, shrubs and groundcovers from more than 60 varieties of flora spread across 15,000 square feet of space throughout. A rooftop Urban Farm spanning 150 square metres houses over 60 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, forming the backbone of the hotel's farm-to-table, farm-to-bar and farm-to-spa concepts.

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications, the Manager will support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives, including environmental sustainability and community engagement, to achieve PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore’s sustainability goals and enhance the hotel’s volunteerism culture.

  • Review and propose policies and initiatives to achieve the hotel’s sustainability goals and complement operational business goals.
  • Establish and document processes to streamline the hotel’s sustainability efforts.
  • Lead and provide secretariat support to the hotel’s Sustainability Committee, to drive sustainability initiatives across the hotel.
  • Prepare submissions and participate in international sustainability awards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to be equipped for national and international sustainability certifications.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to implement hotel-wide sustainability initiatives, including planning and execution of CSR projects, sustainable hotel building tours, national and international events.
  • Monitor and track sustainability performance metrics to achieve the hotel’s sustainability goals.
  • Work closely with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage relevant communications that demonstrate the hotel’s commitment to the sustainability goals.
  • Engage existing and new partners to seek opportunities to further enhance the hotel’s sustainability efforts.
  • Regular monitoring and reporting of emerging sustainability trends, regulations and news for sharing with relevant stakeholders.
  • Any other duties of a comparable nature as may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in hospitality management, and/or sustainability
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or related field will be a bonus.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and independent self-starter, able to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability reporting standards (e.g., GSTC, GRI, CDP), and industry best practices.
