Roles & Responsibilities

• The successful candidate should have 6 to 8 years of solid experience working on databases in a medium/large organization handling more than 200 databases and be available to support on a 24x7 basis in case of any urgent issues in the production database environment.
• Oracle Database Creation (includes users, tablespaces, listener configuration, DB links, material view creation, monitoring, and backups)
• Oracle DB migration, upgrade, cloning, and patching
• Database monitoring and incident resolution
• DB security vulnerabilities fixing
• SQL/PLSQL/shell scripting and new deployments for monitoring
• Oracle Grid Control 13c
• DB performance tuning activities
• Oracle Data Guard setup
• MariaDB/MySQL database creation, migration, upgrade, backup, monitoring, and incident resolution
• On-call DBA duty call support based on DBA duty-call roster
• MSSQL skills upgrade and support
