Your day at NTT DATA
The Senior Associate HR Business Partner is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting with the application of corporate policies related to HR, organizational and employee advancement. This role supports HR management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives and administers talent management and succession planning activities within the assigned business unit. This role also supports the execution of all the programs developed by the relevant HR management team in the assigned stakeholder group.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides HR support and guidance to employees, managers, and HR team members.
- Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Handles and resolves employee relations issues, collaborating with HRBPs and HR leadership as needed.
- Supports the performance management process, including goal setting and performance reviews.
- Supports the design and delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Ensures compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements, providing guidance to HRBPs and employees.
- Prepares and presents HR reports and data analysis to HRBPs and business leaders.
- Participates in HR projects and initiatives, collaborating with the HR team and other departments.
- Supports employee engagement initiatives and action plans to improve workplace satisfaction and productivity.
- Assists in managing organizational change initiatives and communication with employees.
- Utilizes HR technology systems and tools to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for employees and managers across all levels.
- Ensures both HR and business managers have the information they need related to running the talent aspects of their organizations.
- Performs any other related task as required.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Developing knowledge of HR planning, talent management, and organizational development.
- Developing knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR compliance requirements.
- Developing expertise in performance appraisal processes, goal setting, and performance improvement techniques.
- Knowledge of recruitment strategies, candidate sourcing, and selection methods to attract and retain top talent.
- Displays ability to handle employee relations issues and resolve conflicts.
- Good communication and influencing skills to engage with senior executives and stakeholders.
- Developing proficiency in managing organizational change and leading change initiatives.
- Displays ability to make informed and data-driven decisions that impact HR and organizational outcomes.
- Displays skills in using HR data and metrics to derive insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrates high ethical standards and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive HR information.
- Developing ability to influence and persuade business stakeholders to gain support for HR initiatives.
- Eagerness to stay updated with the latest HR trends, industry best practices, and professional development.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Human Resources or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Moderate level of experience working in a similar role preferably gained within a global IT organization.
- Moderate level of experience working closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at different levels in the business.
- Moderate level of experience working leveraging HR technologies including some experience in HRIS, LMS, e-Recruitment and Payroll systems.
