The incumbent will develop and execute sales strategies, manage sales teams, drive revenue growth, and build strong client relationships to achieve company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve company revenue targets.
Team Leadership: recruit, train, coach, and motivate a sales team to achieve peak performance.
Client Relationship Management: build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
Negotiation: represent the company in negotiations with clients and partners.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: track sales performance, identify trends, and provide regular reports to management.
Coordination: work closely with other departments, such as customer service and operations, to ensure alignment and achieve business objectives.
The Successful Applicant
• At least 8 years of relevant sales leadership experience, preferably within the logistics sector
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
• Good communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
