Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Ecommerce Manager to oversee and optimize our online sales channels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing ecommerce operations, developing marketing strategies, improving user experience, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and customer behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

Ecommerce Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute ecommerce strategies to increase online sales and customer engagement.
  • Manage the online store, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.
  • Oversee website merchandising, including product listings, descriptions, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with developers, designers, and content creators to enhance site functionality and aesthetics.
  • Optimizing internal workflows to increase efficiency, identifies roadblocks and opportunities to grow e-commerce business.

Digital Marketing & SEO

  • Implement and manage digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Optimize website for search engines to increase organic traffic and visibility.
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to refine marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with enabler agencies to plan and implement online activities, promotions to drive traffic and sales.
  • Manage partners e.g. ecommerce enabler, digital marketing agency, and oversee tendering, review agreements, negotiate fees, manage performance, resolve disputes, customer inquiry management, content creation, pricing changes, store banner management, promotional activities implementation and submission etc.
  • Ensure sufficient time given to Design team to design advertising material and/or to touch up the product visuals for own Social Media and /or E Commerce usage/posting.
  • Prepare and oversee all e-store promotion copy writing and VMD request. Schedule off-site advertisement and prepare copy writing.
  • New brand expansion launch planning. Liaise and co-ordinate with HQ for new launch / plan.
  • Conducting market research and analysis. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and optimize performance.
  • Derive strategies and action plan to increase traffic, acquire new customers, increase conversion rate to meet revenue and growth targets.

Customer Experience & Conversion Optimization

  • Improve the online shopping experience to boost conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
  • Propose and execute new ideas to enhance the customer’s shopping experience and engagement.
  • Implement A/B testing, UX enhancements, and personalized recommendations.
  • Manage customer service processes and feedback loops to improve engagement.

Inventory & Order Management

  • Oversee stock levels and inventory planning to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Monitor return rates and implement strategies to minimize losses.
  • Work closely with the Brands team to ensure products arrive on time for campaign or launches.
  • Follow up with SCM team to consolidate stocks and assist in planning ECommerce promotion booklet and ensure sufficient stocks for brand.com and business partners.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Track key performance metrics (KPIs) such as traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer retention.
  • Use analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify, Magento, etc.) to measure success and optimize performance.
  • Prepare reports and insights to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in areas of Information Technologies (E-Commerce), Business Administration in E-Commerce, or equivalent graduate-level degree.
  • Minimum of three (03) years of experience in ecommerce management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce.
  • Experience with SEO, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and email marketing automation.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with data tools like Google Analytics.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with affiliate marketing and influencer collaborations.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven ecommerce tools and automation.
  • Understanding of global ecommerce trends and international expansion strategies.
