The Role
Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales and achieve growth targets.
Analyze market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive insights to identify new opportunities for business expansion and digital innovation.
Oversee pricing strategies, promotions and digital merchandising to maximize sales and profitability.
Manage relationships with e-commerce and Q-commerce partners and third-party vendors to maximize visibility and sales opportunities.
Oversee and manage the end-to-end e-commerce and Q-commerce operations, including order fulfilment, inventory management, and customer service.
Oversee the development and execution of promotional campaigns across owned and 3rd party e-commerce and Q-commerce platforms.
Continuously monitor and improve operational KPIs, including picking productivity, order accuracy, delivery timelines, and return rates to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Utilize data analytics tools and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive actionable insights.
Lead the development and implementation of the e-commerce and Q-commerce platform roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial targets for the e-commerce channel, ensuring cost-effective operations and ROI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to integrate e-commerce strategies with overall sales, marketing, and business objectives, ensuring synergy and alignment across all initiatives.
Ensure compliance with e-commerce and Q-commerce regulations and industry standards, mitigating risks associated with online transactions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, streamline operations, and optimize resource allocation within the e-commerce function.
Continuously refine the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of the e-commerce platform to enhance website functionality, navigation and overall customer engagement.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of e-commerce and Q-commerce professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, e-commerce, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce management.
Proven track record of successfully driving e-commerce sales and revenue growth in a competitive market environment.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience in using analytics tools and platforms.
In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and trends, with the ability to leverage emerging technologies for competitive advantage.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and external partners.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, capable of developing and executing innovative strategies to achieve business objectives.
Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to e-commerce operations, data privacy, and consumer protection.
