Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and modules for advanced underwater robotics and sensor systems.
• Conduct design analyses, assess new technologies, and perform trade-off studies for novel systems.
• Participate in all phases of mechanical design, from conceptualization to detailed design, ensuring strong foundational principles.
• Oversee hardware system integration, testing, and assembly at both module and system levels.

Required Qualifications:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Robotics.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and creating technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, including design principles, materials, fabrication processes, and equipment.
• Familiarity with GD&T, thermodynamics, and hydrodynamics is a plus.
• A passion for engineering design and research, particularly in underwater robotics and sensor systems.
• Solid experience in product design and process development, with strong analytical skills for problem-solving during system integration and testing.
• Eagerness to tackle new challenges and learn continuously.
• Ability to work efficiently within tight deadlines.
