The Equity Sales department primarily handles trading global equity and fixed income products.

Responsibilities

• Trade Execution for Equities/Fixed Income/Structured products
• Maintain strong relationship with existing clients and expand client base to drive team revenue growth
• Handle enquiries relating to Maybank Securities accounts and provide high level of service to clients
• Monitor all inbound communication channels including WhatsApp, email and phone to ensure timely response
• Work with internal departments (e.g. custody, credit, finance etc.) to resolve issues and deliver seamless customer experiences
• Keep up to date with latest company/economic news
• Researching and coming up with potential investment/trade ideas
• Onboarding of clients & account opening
• Any other ad-hoc work assigned by team members

Requirement

• Diploma/Bachelor in Finance or related qualifications with 1-2 years of working experience
• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in equity investments are welcome
• Passion about trading, investing, and financial markets
• Highly driven, detail-oriented and energetic with strong integrity and discipline
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking and good time management skills
• A proactive team player, willing to take on both daily operations and sales responsibilities
• Required to obtain relevant CMFAS certifications/license
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a results-oriented attitude – your efforts will be rewarded accordingly !
