Analyst/ Senior Analyst – Credit Risk

This role reports directly to the Chief Risk Officer.

The responsibility of this role includes:

• Assist in credit risk management of the share financing and CFD business of the firm.
• Assess counterparties and clients’ credit profile and propose credit limits to Credit Underwriting Committee.
• Monitor clients portfolio and issue daily margin calls to clients.
• Perform stress tests on CFD / share margining portfolio and highlight any VaR / limit breach.
• Helping the desk perform regional reporting to Malaysia.
• Assisting with various Ops risk tasks such as RCSA updates / Error trades consolidation etc.

Qualification requirement:

• Degree in finance or finance related subject, preferably with a quantitative background.
• Ideally with 1~2 years of working experience. Big 4 candidates with financial service assurance background are welcome.
• Proficiency in VBA is an added advantage.
• Analytical and meticulous.
• Team player with the ability to work independently, maintaining a clear direction and focus.
• Works well in a fast-pace and volatile market environment.
• Willing to cover New York hours on an ad-hoc basis.
• Willing to work on public holidays on a rotational basis.
