Description:

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise/perform fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and maintenance of power system/component in workshops and onboard vessels.
2. Liaise with various departments within the company and clients to expedite the scope of work.
3. Lead a team of electricians in corrective and preventive maintenance.
4. Prepare work completion reports for Customer’s Acceptance.
5. Perform maintenance works in accordance with vessel safety requirements.
6. Conduct in-depth troubleshooting of electrical connections and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
7. Coordinate with vendors and partners, conduct design reviews with customers, and maintain documentation according to our ISO quality systems.

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. 5 years of relevant experience in the Marine-related or Oil & Gas industry.
3. Experienced in dealing with V Main switchboard, Distribution Boards, Transformer, Power Generator, Main Engine, Converter, Inverter, Batteries, Fire alarm & flooding system, and Ship Control Monitoring & Management System.
4. Experience in troubleshooting on various brands of PLCs (Panasonic, Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, etc.) is advantageous.
5. Proficient in selection and integration of sensors, pneumatic systems, Stepper and Servo Motors & control systems, Power Supply Units, and other electrical hardware.
6. Possess man management experience in leading up to 6 men, including Supervisors and Technicians.
7. Willing to work as a team player to achieve assigned tasks within given timelines.
8. Comfortable with report writing.
9. Physically fit and healthy to work onboard vessels and at heights.
