Responsible for aligning financial strategy with business objectives, overseeing and managing the financial and accounting operations, including but not limited to management accounts, budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting for the Company. This position is also responsible for supporting other functions, i.e., Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to make commercial decisions or pricing analysis.
Financial Budgeting
- Lead the budgeting process and monitor the prepared budget.
- Monitor and drive decisions to align with the approved budget.
- Prepare variance analysis to the budget and propose actions to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with respective departments on budget schedules and timelines.
- Consolidate monthly forecasting and monitor the achievement of forecast numbers.
- Drive the process to align financial reports with budget numbers.
- Provide feedback to the company when actuals vary from forecasted numbers.
- Propose mitigating actions to align with forecasted numbers.
- Provide variance analysis to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage cash flow and cost controlling.
- Publish timely financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Analyze monthly financial data to provide insights on overall business performance.
- Provide analysis on variance to budget and forecast.
- Conduct presentations to management and the CEO on financial updates.
Commercial Decision
- Guide capital expenditures and investments.
- Conduct financial analysis and other related functions to make beneficial commercial decisions.
- Review financial policies and conduct regular assessments of financial procedures.
Tax, Audit, and Compliance
- Support internal and external audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance.
- Develop financial and tax strategies.
- Manage compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Serve as the principal point of contact for external auditors, managing preparations and support during all financial audits.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry and supply chain, or at least 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a leadership role within a corporate setting. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus.
