Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, ensuring best practices in business analysis and requirement gathering.
Define and standardize BA processes, tools, and documentation to improve efficiency.
Work closely with stakeholders to align business needs with technology solutions.
Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Engage with business stakeholders to understand pain points, opportunities, and objectives.
Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional and technical specifications.
Conduct gap analysis and recommend improvements to business processes and systems.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented correctly.
Project Execution & Stakeholder Management
Act as the bridge between business teams and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
Support Agile/Scrum teams by refining user stories, prioritizing backlogs, and participating in sprint planning.
Assist in change management, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Create process flows, wireframes, mockups, and other visual representations to enhance understanding.
Data & Reporting
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business and project success.
Leverage data analytics tools to provide insights and drive business decisions.
Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership to support decision-making.
Requirements:
Experience: 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
Strong knowledge of business analysis tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio etc.).
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
Understanding of SQL and data analytics tools is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
Ability to lead and mentor junior BAs.
Experience in delivering government related projects
