Post 1) Quality Engineer(In-Process Quality Assurance)

Job summary:

As an IPQA (In-Process Quality Assurance) Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include leading internal quality audits, conducting system checks, facilitating process buyoff and performing data investigations. By ensuring adherence to standards and driving process improvements, you will directly affect the quality, efficiency and adherence to standards within the Company production operations.

Job description:

• Lead internal quality audits to assess the compliance of manufacturing processes with established quality standards and requirements.
• Facilitate process buyoff by collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate process changes or improvements before full-scale implementation.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement or follow up on corrective actions to enhance the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes. Maintain documentation of audit findings, system checks, and process buyoff outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Provide support and preparation for external audits such as customer audits and ISO audits by ensuring relevant documentation and records are readily available and up to date.
• Perform data analysis based on customer feedback, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Exercise safety and disciplinary control within own section.
• Regularly update and maintain documentation including ISO documents, Control Plan, and Inspection Checklist to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years' experience in a QA role, Data Analyst, or similar function.
• Proficiency in statistical tools and software, such as Minitab, JMP, Tableau, Python, or similar for data analysis will be an added advantage.

Post 2) Asst Engineer / Engineer (Outgoing Quality Control)

Job summary:

Responsible for overseeing all related OQC (Outgoing Quality Control) team operations & activities. This role is accountable for the Quality & work Integrity of Outgoing Inspection & Analysis. Participates actively in Quality Audit & liaises with Production Engineers on quality matters.

Job descriptions:

• Lead a team of Engineering Assistants, Technicians, and Inspectors on daily and weekly OQC Operations.
• Overall In-Charge of Lot dispositions - Ensure Lot Inspected meets Customer requirements and timely release for shipment.
• Observe and trigger to Production on abnormal trends in all critical process parameters and feedback on other monitoring items.
• Trigger product NCMR and manage the affected media disposition.
• Collaborate with IPQA and Process Engineer on suitable improvement activity to prevent similar trouble.
• Identify areas of quality concerns and establish appropriate procedures or systems to prevent or for improvement purposes (on a project basis).
• Work with Quality Engineers & Production Line Engineers/Process Owners in resolving Quality related matters & customer complaints.
• Attend Daily Production meetings to highlight Line performance abnormalities.
• Review & analyze Customer’s HDD performance to alert internal team for key issues.
• Perform data traceability & trend analysis pertaining to Customer failure or internal quality concerns.
• Assist Project Management team to monitor and feedback on Customer concerned items timely.
• Manage and upkeep the ISO standard of the OQC department.
• Assist Manager in analyzing quality issues & initiate projects/plans to resolve issues.
• Control cost expenditure within own section.
• Exercise safety and disciplinary control within own section.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, QA Analysis Tools - Statistical Process Charts & Minitab or similar statistical analysis software.
• Skilled in statistical concepts including probability distributions, hypothesis testing, and capability analysis.
