Job description

The Role:

  1. Provide administrative support to Catering Sales Managers.
  2. Type and issue all Banquet Event Orders, relate memorandum and amendments.
  3. Answer all incoming telephone calls.
  4. Assist Catering Sales Managers to coordinate on events with requirements by clients and follow up with Banquet Event Orders in their absence.
  5. Responsible for distribution of outgoing correspondence, internal memorandums, change sheets, and Banquet Event Orders.
  6. Take messages and set appointments for the Director and Sales Managers.
  7. Prepare for Daily Events, 11-Day Forecast, and Monthly Forecast.
  8. Assist in general administration in the office to the Director of Catering Sales, Sales Managers, and Assistant Sales Managers.
  9. Stock check and control of events operating materials and equipment in the office.
  10. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Talent Profile:

  1. Diploma in Events Management / MICE Management or relevant studies.
  2. Previous experience in a similar environment will be a distinct advantage.
  3. Working knowledge of Opera is preferred.
  4. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
