Salary: Up to $6500 (commensurate based on experiences)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Preschool Principal to lead our outstanding preschool in the vibrant Punggol North-East Region. As the Preschool Principal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young learners, ensuring they receive a comprehensive and nurturing early childhood experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Providing visionary leadership and strategic direction for the preschool, aligning its curriculum and programmes with the organisation's mission and values.
2. Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the preschool, including staff management, resource allocation, and quality assurance.
3. Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the holistic development of each child.
4. Collaborating with parents, community partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
5. Championing professional development opportunities for the teaching team, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional early childhood education.
6. Driving innovation and implementing best practices in teaching and learning methodologies.
7. Actively engaging in community outreach initiatives to promote the preschool and build strong partnerships.

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Early Childhood Education & Diploma in Pre-school Education – Leadership and Training (DPE-L/T) or equivalent recognized by Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a preschool principal (preferable with mega centre experiences).
3. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, coupled with a deep understanding of early childhood development and regulatory requirements.
