Responsibilities
Identify and prospect potential clients within the industry as well as negotiate deals to drive business growth
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities within the resource industry and stay updated on industry trends
Apply for relevant government grants to support business operations and expansion
Organize and plan for surveys for client projects as required
Handle a variety of tasks and manage any issues that arise, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving skills
Collaborate with the Atomionics Singapore team to align business development activities with company goals - share insights and learnings
Stay updated on professional knowledge and skills, by attending relevant workshops, seminars, and networking events
Requirements
Extensive experience in the mining industry, with a deep understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities
12+ years of experience as a Business Development Manager or in Finance
Experience in applying for and securing government grants
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
Established network within the mining industry would be a plus.
Qualifications in mining or geology could be advantageous.
