Resident Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Project specifications, construction drawings, and Building Control Act and Regulations.
2. Oversee all aspects relating to the construction of the Project, keeping and submitting records.
3. Provide full support and assistance, as directed by the Superintending Officer and/or Professional Engineer.
4. Check and assess temporary works by the Contractor to ensure safety and compliance with relevant Regulations.
5. Ensure Contractor’s working procedures comply with the agreed method statement and relevant workplace safety and health regulations, directing modifications if necessary.
6. Inspect completed work and prepare a defects list if necessary.
