Specialist WSHC - Tunnel & LTA Safety

Job Scope

• Developing and implementing comprehensive safety management plans for construction projects, with a focus on tunnel and LTA (Land Transport Authority) safety protocols
• Conducting regular site inspections to monitor compliance with safety regulations and identify potential hazards
• Providing training and guidance to project teams to promote a strong safety culture
• Investigating incidents and accidents, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure the highest safety standards are maintained
• Staying up-to-date with the latest safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry
• Preparing detailed reports and safety documentation as required

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Safety Specialist, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and health regulations, with a specific focus on tunnel and LTA safety requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and train others
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and mitigate safety risks
• Familiarity with construction project management and a good understanding of construction processes
• Relevant safety qualifications, such as WSHC (Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator) certification
