Staff Nurse (Sengkang Cluster)

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessment and clinical intervention.
• Attend and provide quality nursing care to patients.
• Perform nursing procedures and treatment to meet the general comfort and well-being of the patients.
• Competencies in clinical nursing skills and knowledge such as performing IV cannulation, venepuncture for blood sampling, IV administration of medical fluids, ECG monitoring and interpretation are preferred.
• Assist doctors and attend to emergency calls whenever necessary.
• Provide patient education and participate in patient rehabilitation, involving the patient's family as necessary.
• Record and maintain proper accurate documentation of patient's progress and management rendered in the notes, medication records and charts.
• Counter manager duties on an ad-hoc basis.
• Dispensing medication when necessary.
• Any other duties determined by the supervisors.

Requirements:

• At least a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent nursing qualification.
• Registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board, with a valid Practising Certificate.
• Valid BCLS/AED.
• Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Possess good interpersonal skills with a pleasant personality.
• Able to commit to working shifts, including weekdays and weekends on a rotating basis.
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm; Saturday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
