About the role
The incumbent is responsible for operating settlement transactions like TT Remittance, LC Collection/Forfaiting, AR Financing, FX currency conversion to support our China's product divisions’ export business. He/she is expected to possess good communication skills to coordinate amongst staff of various product divisions and the local banks.
You'll be required to participate in Treasury System development segments, e.g. specifying user requirements, creating workflow chat, conducting UAT to improve efficiency of daily operations. We will also lean on you to gather good insights in identifying appropriate cash/trade products from banks to be introduced to daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily treasury operational matters such as TT remittance, LC, Collection and AR Financing;
- Manage company's bank accounts, approval matrix and dealing with daily Bank Journal & monthly Bank Statement Reconciliation;
- Manage Bank Credit Facility, periodically update the latest information and issue Bank Guarantee/Comfort Letter when needed;
- Maintain professional business partnering relationship with bank vendors;
- Support the implementation of major Project Financing & Capital Injection plan;
- Support domestic FX team to coordinate the settlement of FX derivatives;
- Provide Supervision on treasury business entities in overseas region, and improve the cash flow;
- Set up and manage regional Cash Pool;
- Other ad-hoc duty related to treasury matters assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent;
- Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in trade finance/operations within a trading company or a financial institution, but fresh graduates with a strong financial acumen are also welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel;
- Good communication skills both in written and spoken English and Mandarin/Chinese to converse and understand well documents and meeting conversations held by native Chinese speaking vendors and counterparts.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision;
- Team player, meticulous and responsible in closing the task that is assigned.
