Outsystems Developer

Role Entails:

• Work with team members and clients to translate UI designs and functional requirements into effective & delightful experiences

• Design, develop, test, package and deploy robust, performant and secure web applications

• Improve software quality using practices such as code review and unit testing

• Assist BA on user stories elaboration

• Assist QA on test automation and bug fixes

• Assist DevOps on build and release automation

• Be part of a team to deliver meaningful government projects

• Participate in Agile Scrum development

What we’re looking for:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent with at least 3 years of relevant experience in web development

• Able to translate designs into working code, and ability to write clean, efficient, maintainable and readable code. Good fundamentals in data structures and common algorithms

• Good understanding of:

  • Programming languages such as Node.js, Vue.js, and Outsystem low-code development platform (preferred)
  • REST APIs
  • Database structures, SQL
  • Development tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence

• Familiar or have experience in cloud technology

• Good team player and keen interest in picking up new technologies

• Working experience in Agile environment will be an added advantage

• Self-driven and independent

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
