Key Responsibilities
Odoo Platform Development and Implementation
- Lead the development of Odoo-based supply chain management systems, including modules for supplier management, KPI analysis, product automation, and eCommerce integration.
- Collaborate with international partners and service providers (e.g., API vendors, third-party logistics systems) to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of system functionalities.
Supply Chain Management System Customization
- Supplier Management and KPI Analysis:
- Develop features for supplier registration, categorization, KPI data collection, and visualization.
- Design and implement automated supplier evaluation and performance review workflows.
- Product and Document Automation:
- Build tools to automate the creation and updates of product catalogs, technical specification sheets, and user manuals, supporting multilingual and version control features.
- Procurement and Inventory Optimization:
- Customize procurement processes to seamlessly integrate with inventory management and quality control modules, optimizing order management and stock turnover efficiency.
International Collaboration and Communication
- Actively engage with international suppliers, technical service providers, and clients to clarify project requirements and technical specifications.
- Serve as a communication bridge between the company and external technical teams, facilitating smooth collaboration on cross-regional projects.
- Optimize supply chain workflows and product documentation to meet global customer demands.
Project Management and Coordination
- Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestone targets, to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Oversee project progress, coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct project evaluations and document lessons learned to continuously refine project management practices.
System Integration and Performance Optimization
- Integrate Odoo with international service platforms (e.g., payment gateways, logistics tracking systems, API services) to ensure efficient and seamless data flows.
- Optimize system performance to deliver a stable, fast, and user-friendly experience for global operations.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Alternatively, proven success in Odoo development, international supply chain management, and project coordination.
Core Skills & Experience:
Odoo Development and Customization:
- At least 3 years of experience in Odoo platform development and implementation.
- Proficient in supply chain management modules (e.g., procurement, inventory, supplier management) and eCommerce modules.
International Communication and Collaboration:
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international suppliers and service providers.
- Knowledge of cross-cultural communication and the ability to navigate diverse technical and market requirements.
Project Management:
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project) to plan and coordinate complex projects.
- Strong time management and risk mitigation skills to ensure on-time project delivery.
Technical and Development Skills:
- Proficient in Python (Odoo’s core language), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for module development and front-end optimization.
- Experienced with PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and management.
Analytical and Reporting Capabilities:
- Ability to design dashboards and custom reports to monitor supply chain KPIs and project performance.
- Strong data analysis skills to provide actionable insights for business optimization.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience working in multilingual environments for system development and documentation.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for Odoo deployment and maintenance.
- Familiarity with integration with eCommerce platforms such as WooCommerce or Shopify.
- PMP or PRINCE2 project management certification is a plus.
